By continuing to browse this website or our mobile application (“Dutibook App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use, which, together with our Privacy Policy, govern the relationship between you and Dutibook Pty Ltd (“Dutibook,” “we,” or “us”) in relation to this website, the Dutibook App, and the services provided.

Dutibook is a South African website and mobile app, 100% Black woman-owned, providing a technology platform that enables users to book service providers employed by Dutibook or third-party independent professionals. These service providers offer various home and professional services, which can be scheduled through our platform. Dutibook provides the information and method to access such third-party services but is not responsible or liable for any services provided by these third parties.

1. USER ELIGIBILITY

A user is any individual or business entity legally operating in South Africa with the right to use Dutibook services. Dutibook’s services include hiring professionals for home-based solutions such as appliance repair, electronics, cleaning services, parlor-at-home services, consultation, legal services, handyman services, etc., via the mobile app.

Users must:

  • Be legally capable of entering into contracts under South African law.

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Abide by all relevant South African laws while using the website or app.

Dutibook may, at its discretion, refuse service to anyone at any time.

2. USER AGREEMENT

This agreement applies to all visitors, registered free or paid users, and any legal entities represented by a user. Users may not use the website or app for unlawful personal purposes. Specific service terms may override these general terms in case of conflict.

3. AMENDMENTS

Dutibook may change, modify, or update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continuous use of the platform indicates acceptance of updated terms. Users are encouraged to review terms regularly.

4. ACCOUNT INFORMATION & SECURITY

By registering, you confirm that the information provided is true, accurate, and current. Inaccurate information may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

You consent to receive updates via phone or SMS, with the option to opt-out. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and for notifying Dutibook immediately of unauthorized use.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Dutibook owns all rights to the website, app, software, and content. The platform is licensed for personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive use. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or compilation of content is prohibited.

All trademarks, logos, and content on Dutibook are protected under copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

12. TERMS FOR SERVICE PROFESSIONALS

Users hiring service providers agree to:

  • Pay all service, labor, item, and convenience costs as applicable.

  • Avoid misusing devices or asking service providers to break laws.

  • Use the platform lawfully and responsibly.

Dutibook is not liable for:

  • Service provider performance

  • Loss, damage, or interruption of services

  • Lost items

Users must report complaints within 24 hours. Dutibook may track service providers via GPS for safety and quality assurance.

13. DISCLAIMER

Information on the website and app is provided “as is” and may contain errors. Dutibook is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, service interruptions, or external website content.
